(1) The corresponding bromobutane and sodium sulfide were refluxed into ethanol.
(2) The corresponding butanol and carbon disulfide were heated and refluxed.
(3) Using corresponding butanol and hydrogen sulfide as raw materials, heated under the catalysis of gamma-alumina, prepared by gas-solid catalytic reaction.
A Small Method for Preparing Disec-Butyl Disulfide
1. Sodium sulfide and water were added into the reaction bottle, after stirring and dissolving, sulfur powder was added, heated to 55 C under stirring for 1 hour, then cooled.
2. The microwave reactor was opened and stirred for 0.2-2 hours at 300-1000W power to terminate the reaction. Disec-butyl disulfide was synthesized from the reaction liquid by standing, separating the water phase, and distilling the organic phase.
