Salsalate Application
1. Salsalate has an antipyretic effect, analgesic effect, and anti-inflammatory effect.
2. It decomposes in the stomach rather than the mouth.
3. It decomposes in alkaline intestinal fluid into molecule salicylic acid and works up to higher level of therapeutic plasma that can be maintained for 16 hours.
4. Used for influenza, acute and chronic rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic fever and headache, toothache, back pain, neuralgia and the like
